1. Acceptance of terms

By using Smart PDF Toolkit ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. The Service

The Service provides free tools to compress, merge and convert PDF documents. Merging and Word conversion happen inside your web browser. Compression is performed by a secure third-party processing service (iLovePDF); files are deleted immediately after processing and are never stored by us.

3. Your responsibilities

• You must have the legal right to process any document you use with the Service.
• You must not use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including forging or altering official documents.
• You are responsible for checking that the output meets the requirements of any portal, institution or recipient before submitting it.
• You should keep a copy of your original files.

4. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that a document can always be compressed below a given size, that conversions will keep every element of formatting, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss of data, missed deadlines, rejected applications or any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

6. Intellectual property

You keep all rights to your documents. The Service's design, name and code belong to Smart PDF Toolkit and may not be copied without permission.

7. Third-party content

The Service may show advertisements or links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
